At the end of each year I always make a little recap of what happened. A year always seems so long but goes by so fast. As I was thinking about this year I've decided that it really started in May. Everything I remember before then are the bad things and everything I remember after are good. So, why recap the bad when I can look at everything that was great.
May!
May included writing my capstone paper along with going through the end of a relationship, these paired together were ridiculous. Thank you Eric Kingry for telling me that it passes and not letting me leave capstone. May also included...warm weather! Which led to my exploration of downtown Bellingham! Something I had never done, whether or not I chose not to or could not. This month I began. I have never had so much fun. 80's night, Reggae Night, my first night out dancing with the girls! Whom would turn out to be my best friends. During this time I realized who my real friends were and who were not. The end of Michaela and Kayla. For the best. The beginning of Sarah, Autumn, Abby, Zoe, Andy, Alex and so many more I got closer to. This was also the month I met, for real, my Travis. Thank you Jalapenos and Big Mama's and more importantly Monday nights at Rumors :)

June!

June!June was the end of a long quarter, which resulted in an A- in capstone, a new found world of going out and a ton of new friends to do that with. June also included Travis and I dating. The best first date of going to the zoo. June was also a time of Rec parties at the Cove, BBQ on the balcony with the amazing weather was so much fun and I can't wait for that again. I believe Batman came out in June? Maybe July, nevertheless that was super fun going to the midnight show of that, also where Travis met my friends for the first time. June was also when I chose to exchange the Tiffany's necklace for a ring, best decision.

July!July was the beginning of summer and last quarter at Western. 23 credits didn't stop me from having fun. A lot of going out to amazing summer nights on the town. A lot of dancing at the Caliloo and Rumors, a lot of bonding with the new boy. July was also Autumn and Charlie's wedding, which I was so fortunate to attend and be a part of . July was also spent making trips to the market with Travis to visit Abby and Sarah and the HOT DOG stand, also we would walk down to pet the bunnies.

August was graduation! And my Birthday! My birthday was spent at Hearthfire, where Travis made us special food and he got me the cutest presents. The night before my birthday I went to the Fairhaven with Alex, Casey, Andy, Shelly, and Franklin. A great time of dancing, phone burning, and playing, Travis came and got me and I couldn't have asked for more. A great birthday! Graduation was amazing, and included a fabulous graduation party. Along with hot summer nights, one of which was spent out at Sarah's beach house. We also went to Wild Waves! My first time, it was amazing, first time ever going on a roller coaster too, then we went to Claim Jumper, amazing too. Gah.

Nick and I moved into our condo! Best place! This was also when Travis moved into his new place and cooked us a dinner for the move in. It was also his birthday, we spent it in downtown Seattle and Southcenter shopping. Sarah sadly left for Greece but we had a big going away party for her. Ching also visited!! For 2 weeks!! This was my first quarter not being in school, which was pretty kick ass. Worked a whole day at Varner (fuck me) Systsma, then got hired at Chrysalis, where I immediatly booked a room and dinner at Fino.

October!
We went all out for October festival parties. Halloween party, pumpkin patch, and Travis and I watched 31 scary movies. Amazing. Very festive month. I carved hella pumpkins too, 3. Travis carved a cross. My pumpkins are still on the balcony too. Eh...We also started doing Office nights on Thursday at Autumn's. We've made lots of dinners, I have specialized my Harvest Salad, thanks to Boundary (which is amazing living a block from). Halloween was spent as Amy Whinehouse.

November!
I got to spend Thanksgiving with Travis' family, I had so so much fun. They are wonderful and I love them, we also got to spend the night in a fabulous hotel. We also spent at night at the Chrysalis, which was perfect. Temple Bar was explored this month as well along with festive decorating for Christmas time. And yes, Travis and I went out at 5am the day after Thanksgiving to Southcenter mall, we are just that kick ass.

December!
December was super busy. Travis had his Teach for America interview at UW, we did the Jingle Bell Run in Seattle, we had our Wedding Belle's night at Palace Kitchen, and we had a great Christmas party. It was my favorite Christmas. Travis and I opened our gifts the night before Christmas Eve. It snowed a ton and we were snowed in together for Christmas movies. Tomorrow is New Years Eve and I know we are going to Abby's and probably around. Travis works until close and I can't wait to see him after, I remember seeing him last year on New Years Eve and he caught my eye then ;)

In these last months I have done more than I have done in the last 3 years. I have more friends, real ones, who don't sleep with my boyfriend. I love them all, I would do anything for them and want them all to be happy. I have the most amazing boyfriend too. Something so foreign to me in the sense that he is who he is. I love him so much. For the first time ever, I see myself in the future and it looks promising, exciting, and terrifying (in a good way.) And who knows, maybe this time next year i'll be typing this from a new home, a more urban home?
Endless possibilities as opposed to Endless cycles.
I have finally started my life.
