Spring Update

It's been so long.
Last week Travis and I took a short vacation down to Auburn to see his parents. We visited with his dad first then stayed at his mom's house and went out to dinner. Such a cozy house :) The next day, even though I threw up at Quiznos, we went to The Old Cannery, Ikea, and Guitar Center. I love watching him play guitar :) It was St. Patrick's day and I was still feeling under the weather, so we got some tums, and he drove halfway home and instead of going out, we built a nest and watched XFiles, it was so perfect.
Monday we went out to dinner to Mambo, which was cozy, romantic, and warm. Again, I ate too much, I'm seeing a pattern here, but we built a nest and finished, sadly, season 3 of XFiles :( Time for season 4.
Tuesday we met Cass and her husband at the Bellwhether bistro for some cocktails and Monte Python Fluxx, which I love playing :) then we all went to Kuru Kuru sushi and ate tons of sushi, not so much for me, but hella wasabi. It was a great little weekend for us.
Tomorrow, I'm going to watch some hearings at the courthouse then off to work and finally see my girls after! Super glad for that.
I weeded my little garden on the balcony and am excited to plant some exciting herbs and flowers too.
He held my hand last night while I was awake the whole night. He is my hero, my biggest fan and my best friend. I love him more than I can describe :)
Goodnight my nut.
Goodnight my ladies. Miss you all.

So Damn Sunny

I love it. I'm sitting on the couch looking through all my windows outside. The garden across the street has new wood chips and it smells so good, I can't wait for the smell of cut grass. Nut's playing his game and is really into it. Hopefully a trip to Woods later will happen and a battle in Scrabble.
I work 4-9 tonight, which I'm glad for, I feel like organizing. Then, Abby, Autumn, Zoe and I are going to Hearthfire for a free appetizer and martinis. Basil Gimlet for me of course.
Tomorrow is the BUNNY FESTIVAL at Haggen. Or the 'Spring Food Festival.' I prefer Bunnies. Which I am so going to with Travis. Then we leave around 2:30 for Edmonds, it will be a good girl trip :)
I've been scanning specials for a little down the road to book, when it's a little warmer out :)
Anywho, one too many jelly beans this morning.
Also, visit me April 2nd at the Sportsplex for the vendor show, it's open to the public. We have a front corner booth, it's old bakery themed, complete with a chalk board menu, free bite sized samples of my cookies, and i'll be selling them a dozen per bag.
Ciao.

March

This little guy arrived today. When I walked inside he was sound asleep sprawled out on his little green cushion. When he woke up we took him outside to play with his ball, that is entirely too big for his mouth. He followed me everywhere, even though he has trouble running. He can't really climb the stairs, he prefers leaping in one bound. He is so small and loves the fireplace, so we spent a lot of the day in front of it, we have that in common.

On April 2nd I am sharing a booth with my parents at the trade show in Bellingham being held at the Sportsplex, it's open to the public, and they expect 3000 people like last year. Which means, I will be making bite sized sample crisps for the public, along with one dozen bags to be selling. Our booth is a bakery theme, complete with fake chalk boards and vinyl lettering for a menu, little cake stands that Autumn's going to be making, and checkered table cloths and aprons! Should be fun and hopefully I will sell a lot.

Hoping to get the turn around for BP too. Sending in my vendor application to them tomorrow. I have an order to drop off at the Womencare Shelter tomorrow morning too. I'm going to hit up Rustic Coffee in Fairhaven too to see if they would be interested in carrying them.

I am just so happy to be not sick anymore. It feels good to have energy again. And to run again! I am so excited that it's March too, almost quasi springtime.

I miss my peanut so so much too. I can't wait to see him tomorrow. This weekend we're all going to Edmond's to see Abby's brother's play, which will be so good to take a girl roadtrip.

Anywho. That's about all for now.
