Halloween Party

The Halloween party was a success. The decorations looked great, the food was awesome, the drinks super good and tons of people came and dressed up. I had a great time. I am pretty beat today at work. Travis woke up super sick and I took him to the dentist, he passed out right when we got back. I went for a great run which helped me feel a bit better today and it's Yu Ting's last night at work, sad.

Good news? I get Monday and Tuesdays off now!! Eeeee!! That means days off with my nut again! God, we deserve it so much. I miss going out to dinner, movies, adventures so so much and can't wait. Granted I have 6 nights of closing before my next day off, which also means I work Halloween. That's okay, totally worth it to have Mon-Tues off. I'll dress up at work and go out after.

Me and Travis had a super great long talk last night, we always go to bed so late after those :) I love them. I love that we talk and are so open. I am so lucky. I am still getting used to having someone that I can be so open with. It's wonderful. He is.

Sugar High

More like sugar crashing right now. I went into the kitchen at work and they handed me a plate full of WARM chocolate and white chocolate macadamia cookies, how could I say no? Obviously I said yes and then proceeded to eat 3, this is after I already have had an awful headache all night at work. Now, thanks to me, it's even worse. It was worth it though, I just want to close my eyes and go to sleep so badly. An hour and 15 minutes left.

I have tomorrow off with Travis! It's our Halloween party. My first task will be starting the cake baking, because it will take about 3 hours. While that's going I can do the little eyeballs, bones, etc. Massive decorating will occur tomorrow as well :) Also, I want to get another pumpkin.

Halloween Nights

I am in love with this scary stormy weather. I love all the colors of leaves scattered everywhere, on the sides of the road, covering people's yards, all over my car in the morning. It has really been a beautiful fall.

I am so excited for the Halloween party. Tomorrow is costume hunting day and probably putting more decorations up. Plus, it's my day off :) That's wonderful.

We went to Rumor's last night and I had a great time. I have the most gorgeous boyfriend ever. He's so wonderful. I love us. I love everything ahead of us too :)

Work's pretty slow tonight, about two and a half hours left. I went for another run this morning, luckily I missed the rain. I love running through all the leaves and today I saw 2 squirrels :)

Chirp

It's been a bi-polar weather day. I woke up and it was raining lots, but I still went on my morning run (which i loved), then of course it gets beautiful and warm out, then pours again at work, now it's clear and dry. Bi-polar.

We only have 3 more check ins tonight, but at least there are 3 banquets going on, so there are people lurking aimlessly around.

I'm frustrated and proud of myself and my body. I'm proud because I really think I've been doing well and my body is changing, BUT frustrated because my mind is ahead of my body, in the sense of everything working. I'm ready to get going again, but my body is lagging behind still. This is frustrating. I know it's coming soon but gah, I just want to be all back to normal now.

Anywho, I work tomorrow and Friday then get Saturday off to get all that stuff done. Trav's working too. Miss him bunches. He's so incredibly good to me, it amazes me. I am so lucky.

I also want to get carving more pumpkins. I will have to wait until I get paid on Friday to gather up some more pumpkins. I am going to carve a Bellwether one and something else....
Decisions!

Cobwebs and Pumpkins

Yesterday I put up cobwebs all over the house, complete with little spiders. I love how decorated the house is, even the porch is. I want to do something for the front porch too...

I'm at work and will be here every night until next Monday. But it's worth it, because that's the Halloween party and more importantly I will get a day off with Travis. UGH. Seriously, I need those days off.

It's pretty slow tonight. I made lemon rosemary biscotti this morning, I love how it smells. I got tipped $2 so far tonight. Everyone is at the house for D&D tonight. I hope they are all there when I get home. I miss it. Lots. I miss my nut :)

Anyway, I am going to put together my costume this week and have to get stuff for the party. I'm excited.

Chilly Air

The best description of the day; chilly air. It never got quite sunny out, just a gray, chilly air type of day. I woke up this morning feeling sicker than yesterday, went to the bathroom and reached into a basket and grabbed a razor and cut my finger. I didn't notice anything until I looked down and the blood soaked toilet paper roll. Lots of blood. Travis bandaged me up :) A amazing perk of living with him :)

He drove to Marysville to buy his entertainment center and I was at home before work scooting the nest chair around to try to capture the sun to sit in, alas, it just wasn't that sunny. I am really excited for him, he's been wanting this TV for a long time.

My dayquil is on it's last leg and my head is starting to pound and be hazy again. It will, to say the least, be a long night at work. Everyone is going to the house to play D&D, sadly I work again next Monday, so my addition to the game won't come for a few more weeks still.

It smells so good right now at work. There is a dinner going on in the Admiral Room and it smells delightful. I haven't had much of an appetite with my cold, however hot soup sounds wonderful with crackers.

I decided I'm going to carve a pumpkin with the Bellwether logo on it and bring it next week. I think it will be cute. I also have a few more carving ideas, can't wait to do the first :)

I really miss having days off with Travis. It's been so long since we have had one together. Hopefully soon. On that day I want to go to a pumpkin patch with him :) Get some good ones and some cider.

The Sickness

I woke up with a cold :( It was inevitable. I took a bunch of Nyquil and have lots of fruit and healthy things with me to eat. My head has that hazy foggy feeling. I would much rather be laying down watching Greek or Gossip Girl....or a scary movie.

This has been the most beautiful fall also. I love it so much. All the colors overwhelm me. I want to buy more pumpkins too and put them all over our porch. I had a good few days off and I'm glad to be back at work. We are really slow but the fireplace is on and there are new flowers in the lobby, I like the little things.

A Love Affair With Cashews

That's what it is. Cashews. We go hand in hand. They are even shaped like me, in the fetal position. Crunchy, a little soft, not too salty, some substance to them and just yummy. Thanks to them (and some oatmeal chocolate chunk cookies) I gained weight this week.

So thanks nuts and chocolate. Here's to another week.

I also have the most incredible boyfriend. The way he looks at me, leaves me speechless. Truly. I am very excited to curl up and watch a scary movie with him tonight too when I'm off. Sounds magnificent.
