I haven't been the best blogger lately. Things have been so busy. I suppose now since I have my own office I could take time and blog. My job's been going well, I'm learning lots of things each day. It's hard to watch fellow coworkers getting frustrated. I wish I could fix things but I can be there with my support in hopes for change.

It's my day off and rainy. I don't have much energy and will probably just watch Prison Break all night til Trav gets off. We're venturing down to Alderwood mall tomorrow for a short getaway. I'm excited.

Spring has sprung, finally. We've had some really nice days lately in the 60's. I have lots of inside flowers and am looking forward to planting outside.

Travis is so wonderful, I love us and our life.

Changes

Well I'm happy to announce that I am the new Front Desk manager at the Hotel Bellwether! It's been a whirlwind the last almost 2 weeks. Training, 8-10 hour days, 11 days in a row, 9 days in a row, being under the weather most of those days too. But it's been worth it. I'm excited, motivated, busier than I ever thought which in turn has controlled my anxiety. I love my people I work with so much. Everyone's been so supportive and sweet. Andrew and Quinn got me a card! I have my own office and I even got a plant today!

I splurged and got an Express suit too :) With new shirts, I'm happy. Fun times!

End of January

Well January has flown by! It's been a busy month. Filled with my trip to Vegas, adventures out on the town, adventures meeting new friends and fun times at work.

I've done a few things that have taken me out of my comfort zone too. One was going to trivia night at Uices with Jenny and her boyfriend Greg. I was alone and I almost bailed, but sucked it up, got brave and ventured out. I really like both of them a lot, I enjoy all our conversations and it's rare to find people to challenge your thinking. There's a group that meets on Thursdays and I'm hoping to start.

My Mary Kay is on hold, maybe permantely. My heart isn't in it. I don't think it ever was. It's just not for me. I'm more than okay with that and am just finishing up adjusting my finances.

I took a trip to Alderwood with Sarah, Abby and Val this last weekend! We looked at stuff for Vegas and talked endlessly about it. I can't wait, it's going to be so much fun.

Anywho, I'm off!

January Recap

It's been a while! January 3-6 I went to Vegas with my mom for the promotional convention. I had a great time. I learned a lot, had great food, great talks and won an iPad!!! It's amazing. I'm using a keyboard Jesse lent me for it.

Today's been the first day of no snow. It started last Sunday night and went all week. It was pretty fun, I got cabin fever but successfully trecked downtown twice in the snow. Oliver liked watching it too. They are talking about more in a week or so.

Also, Travis booked us a trip to Vegas Feb. 23-26. It's his vacation time and I get to use my vacation days too. We take the same Alaska flight there and are staying in the Rush Tower at the Golden Nugget. Best part of this trip also? There are 12 of us who booked the SAME package!! The group so far is: Me, Travis, Bryan, Sarah, Abby, Zoe, Val, Luke, Tucker, Tucker's friend, Shawn and Javier! I can't believe it! It's going to be crazy fun. It's Abby and Tucker's birthdays too that weekend. It seems to crazy to be true that so many of us are all going together. It's going to be super fun.

REVIEW!

Anacortes Anthony's opening, a night at the Silver Cloud hotel on 1st in Seattle, and the Harry Potter Exhibit at the Science Center!

D&D begins, Oliver gets a new American Apparel tee, Travis also gets a super bright sunshine tee!

We go to Vegas with Bryan and Rissy and stay in the Luxor. We also have a killer St. Patty's Day party, plus I get hella bad ass running shoes!

BBQ season begins! Easter egg dying commences, Zoe visits and we go to one of the last nights at Nimbus, and also spend quality time at Poppes!

   

We have a birthday for my dad at Hearthfire, Oliver gets his first bath of the year, we throw Raj a going away party, and we go to dinner and gamble at Silver Reef with Travis' mom and sister!

We celebrate our 3 year anniversary at Nimbus, the market opens, Oliver gets another new tee and we enjoy Sunday breakfast, often at Nelson's!

We go to a Mariner's game in Seattle, we honor our tradition of Zoo trip once a year, we spend the 4th on the roof at Hearthfire and we spend a weekend in Cannon Beach!

We have an awesome birthday/BBQ, spend a weekend getaway in Portland, and celebrate Bryan's last night in town!

We take a class at Ciao Thyme, we both groom Ozzie, I get to see Travis fishing finally, and we make a trip to the Outlets for some awesome tshirts!

We thrown an epic Halloween party, we start up D&D again, and spend multiple nights carving pumpkins!

Travis gets a new car! I pick up Mary Kay and wine drinking! We have cozy party nights at Sarah's including a friendsgiving!

We cut down our 4th tree together, go to Mallards for Oreo ice cream, have holiday parties, and decorate like none other!
