Snug as a bug in a ......house!

Okay, okay, I feel I can finally post this since we sign the lease on Saturday and pay our tiny deposit of only $200!

We found a home, the top of a victorian house on Iron street by Potter, right around the corner from the cute little convenience store. The houses next to us have amazing manicured lawns and are just plain beautiful. Living below us is one girl while we rent the top 2 bedrooms.

I hope to take some pictures of the inside on Saturday, but here are a few of the outside and backyard. Yes, backyard, complete with upstairs patio, furniture, washer dryer, just all amazing things that I want to decorate now.

We move in August 1st, so my apartment will be mainly empty for August. It was a great year here and I loved it, the best year so far for sure, but it was just too expensive and Nick is moving away as well.

Awe

So many great things to talk about.

We had our 1 year this week :) We celebrated by going to the zoo, which was our first date :) It was the perfect trip. It was almost 90 degrees, breezy, but his allergies were acting up and he was a little drugged up ;). Still, an amazing trip full of cute animals and wild penguins. Then we walked around Alderwood mall, tried on some fabulous shoes at Nordstroms and had dinner at Claim Jumper, which was so so good.

THEN, yesterday we got all super super dressed up and he surprised me with my present. A basket (giant and great) full of things that reminded him of me. Included, green bananas, Koala Crisp, champagne, a stuffed puppy, BEAUTIFUL flowers, a giant candle, Clorox wipes, 2 brands of my favorite gummie bears, and the most amazing card. After that we went and looked at a beautiful 2 bedroom victorian in the York neighborhood, met the landlady and tonight she called me and told me she loved us, especially that we were dressed nice and has chosen us :) She said she will call in a couple days, so keeping my fingers crossed for now :)

Saturday we are going to Central for his brother's graduation, fun small road trip. I have so many flowers in my apartment right now it's wonderful.

Gah. Okay, some pictures. So happy. So in love. So excited for everything.
