Scary Night

Last night was one of the scariest nights of my life. We found that the front door had been left open and Oliver was nowhere to be found. I ran outside in the snow calling for him in tears. I heard rustling and ran back upstairs, they saw him and corralled him back in the house. I have never seen Oliver run that fast up the front stairs in my life. He jumped into my arms, heart beating faster than it ever has. I burst into tears holding Oliver and Travis. It was the worst feeling ever.

I felt that I had lost my two true loves. It was so scary. I am so thankful to have my babes at home waiting for me to get off work. I need them in my life. I am so lucky and happy to have them.

Updateeees

It's officially less than 2 weeks until our vacation to Vegas. We both are so ready.

I haven't been able to update as much because blogger is blocked on the computers at the front desk. So here I am in the back writing.

Overall I have been feeling pretty well. Going to the gym 5 days a week has been incredible. The Y is closed on Sundays, so instead we got breakfast at Nelson's. It was amazing. Every other time we've gone I've gotten the bowl of fruit and sometimes cottage cheese. This time I ventured out with the oatmeal and english muffin. Very scary but very good. A lot of breathing followed.

It's been a rough day today. We didn't go to the gym and we have both felt that today. I've had a massively distorted day and he's been feeling sluggish. At least we have each other :)

We've been spending lots of time together and talking lots. Each day I am so lucky that he stuck around. I am so thankful.

Weekend Wrap Up

2 days off just never feels like enough. Alas, back to work tomorrow. *sigh*

My first day off was spent cleaning in the sun, it was so pretty. Then I met my mom at Hearthfire for drinks and snacks. Then met people at the Ranch Room then headed off to Rumors for dancing. It was a lot of fun but I was hung over a lot of today. We went to the Y this morning and I was lagging. We watched 'Eat Pray Love' which was good and I sorta felt better but not 100%.

We went to Giuseppe's for dinner with Norman and Bryan. Very yummy and I'm still sooo full.

I'm feeling guilty about it too, which sucks but I'm trying really hard to breathe and understand this will pass....

Anywho, the weather has kept me chipper and I hope it's another beautiful day tomorrow and I hope I can put on my work clothes and be okay.

Vegas-Round 2

So there's this great Vegas guide on a site I found and you can choose from all sorts of occasions you're visiting Vegas and they tell you the best places to go. So here are some interesting things to check out...

-Cabo Wabo at Planet Hollywood, it's a mexican restaurant that has a party vibe until the wee hours of the morning. It's also the place where you get the 100 oz guitar cup for drinks. Key.

-Pure nightclub is the best club in Vegas and they say possibly in the world! It's in Caesar's palace and it's sister club is LAX in the Luxor where we are staying. So mayyyyybe we will get like double access to both :) I really want to get my dance on this time. Last time we were so pooped from all the walking, I've got heels and dresses I want to wear yo!


-There is a Coyote Ugly at New York New York, which would be fun to check out. They say it's a younger hip crowed i.e. US!

-A place open until 3 am is Nine Fine Irishmen in New York New York, they say it's great if you're looking for a pub experience, maybe a pint or two?

-MGM has Studio 54 for some throw back jams...might be entertaining to do an 80's night?

Basically, I can't wait!

Sunny

It really is remarkable mood changes when it's sunny out. I was watching Oliver sitting by the french doors watching the birds and squirrels in the sun. When he's in the sun his pupils are super tiny and it reminds me of summer already.

I'm excited for...
-Planting flowers!
-Getting a little table and chair set for the porch!
-Feeling warm

New Layout!

I am in loooove with this new layout and features. Well...what's been going on in our lives....

We have been going to the YMCA each morning and doing hella workouts, getting all ripped and such. It's been great for both of us, I love it and I feel so much more relaxed the rest of the day. Travis said it makes him feel centered. Well, another point for my lady on recommendations...You win...

It's official we are going to Vegas for round 2! Vegas on steroids! Got us a bangin' deal through Luxor including 3 nights, airfare on Alaska from the Ham, plus 2 show tickets. Best part? Bryan and Rissy get to go with us!!! Hopefully Mike and Crystal too! Eeeek! Dates are March 7-10th, perfect time to get out of this glooooomy weather and into some hella partying fun.

We chose to go to Zumanity! Apparently it's some sexed up animalistic show. Sounds wonderful. Our tickets are for the Tuesday night, perfecto!

I was shocked to find that the Luxor's pool is on maintenance while we are there, BUT we are able to use the Excalibur's pool. I found that they have adult only pools, we fear children screaming and splashing. So here's what that pool looks like, I'm stoked especially because I have a new swimsuit!

We have a king bed room which will be next to Bryan and Rissy's. So so so fun!

LAX nightclub is in the Luxor too and I've been reading lots about it, should be some super dancing and maybe I'll see me a Kardashian!

So excited to get to go with these two!

So basically we are saving for spending money in Vegas and keeping it low key. We've had a pretty wonderful 2011 so far and I'm so happy and excited for everything else!
