Run.

March of 2007 I started running. 5 days a week. 1 mile each day. 200 miles that year.
January of 2008 until August 2008 I continued the same, 160 miles.
September of 2008 I went to 9 miles a week, so about 40 more miles up until today.
That's 400 miles.
On average it is an 8 minute mile. 3,200 minutes spent running. About 53 hours of my life spent running.
53 hours I have spent contemplating what I'm doing. Those 53 hours are/have been my hours of zen. My moments. My time.
Running today I felt like I was finally away from everything that made me start running in the first place. And for the first time in 400 miles, I ran for me.
Life is too short to run for anyone besides yourself.
